The Technical Committee coordinates habitat restoration and protection efforts. Currently, the committee is working on Ecosystem Diagnostic Treatment (EDT) modeling to support development of a Limiting Factors Analysis and Spokane River Watershed Habitat Restoration Strategy and Plan. Long-term, the committee will identify, review, prioritize, and recommend funding of habitat projects.

The Citizens Committee assures local outreach, education, input and support.  When the technical committee begins recommending and prioritizing projects, the citizens committee will annually review and complete the ranking process for funding submissions to the Salmon Recovery Funding Board. During the summer of 2024, initiating governments will meet to form the citizens committee.
